A specialised service available to both inpatients and outpatients. This service provides advice and assistance to people with new and existing stomas.
This is a consulting service for those people who have had digestive system surgery and now have a surgical opening to the outside of their body for either feeding or drainage purposes.
Referral to this program may be made by clients themselves or can be made by a health professional. Appointments can be made by telephoning 57220348.
Cost for services provided by the stomal therapist vary and are calculated on an individual basis.
