Central Sterilizing Department

Situated within the Operating Suite, the Central Sterilizing Department (CSD) has a core staff of six qualified technicians. CSD is responsible for the decontamination, wrapping and sterilizing of all surgical stock. The unit operates Monday - Friday between the hours of 07.00 and 21.00 and also provides and on call service on weekends.

In addition to all in house work CSD provides the above services to public and private practices throughout the North East region of Victoria.

CSD is proud not only of their service but also their 'state of the art' instrument washers, sterilizers and diagnostic equipment.
