Health Awareness

There is much more to NHW than just the acute health provision. NHW offers a range of other services including community rehabilitation, residential services and support. NHW is focused on the overall 'wellness' of the community and working towards assisting people to enjoy many years of healthy independent living with emphasis on shortening hospital stays and treating people in their homes as appropriate. NHW is proud to be able to actively provide and promote a broad range of health awareness information, programs and services to our community. A community newsletter is published bi-monthly and we work with our local newspaper, radio and television media outlets providing regular community service announcements and media releases.

NHW also host a number of tours, presentations, sites at career expos, equipment demonstrations to various schools, community groups, service clubs, businesses and individuals.
