Volunteering at NHW

Volunteers are an integral part of Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) and its community.

Our Volunteers give their time freely to care for patients, residents, clients and their families, assisting nhw staff and helping to provide the best care and quality of life to those who require our help and support.

We welcome people from all walks of life to join our friendly team of volunteers and Kerryn Mitchell (Coordinator Volunteer Services) works with all potential volunteers to ensure their interests and skills are catered for.

Some of the skills and interests our volunteers bring to NHW include gardening, arts, craft, card playing, walking, pets, music, theatre, conversation, listening, reading, a second language… the list is endless.  We are always on the lookout for anything different that people would be interested in incorporating into our program.
