Donations over $2.00 are fully tax deductible and all gifts will be acknowledged.
Patients at Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) enjoy modern equipment and facilities, and professionally competent and friendly staff. Much of this is made possible through the financial and in-kind generosity of many individuals, businesses and community groups.
A number of fundraising events and activities are conducted throughout the year to bridge the gap between government funding and money needed to provide quality health services. Each year Northeast Health Wangaratta conducts appeals to raise significant funds for a new capital project and medical equipment.
Bequests
We understand that it is not always possible to make a gift right now. That is why we encourage you, after meeting the needs of your family, to remember Northeast Health Wangaratta in your Will.
Making a gift through your Will means that you can make an important contribution in the future without affecting your current circumstances. It is preferable that bequests are earmarked for general use, as areas of need change constantly. However, if you wish, your bequest can be used for a specific purpose.
Your bequest to Northeast Health Wangaratta, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you wish to make a bequest, you can use the following wording as a guide. Alternatively, you can seek assistance from your solicitor or accountant for guidance.
‘I __________________give, devise, bequeath ________% of my Estate or the residue of my Estate or the sum of $_________ to Northeast Health Wangaratta (Previously Wangaratta District Base Hospital) for its general purpose, free of all duties. I declare that the receipt of the Chief Executive Officer or Proper Officer of the organisation shall be full and sufficient discharge to my Executors.’

Bricks for Babies
Celebrate the birth of your familiy’s new baby with an individually engraved paver brick. Your contribution will be a unique and lasting record of your commitment to supporting your local hospital. All pavers will be installed in our specially designed pathway at the front of the hospital. Your baby’s name will go down in history as permanent recognition of your support.
All monies raised from engraved paving bricks will be used to purchase medical equipments for Northeast Health Wangaratta’s midwifery Unit.

In Memorial Giving
A Memorial Gift can live on forever
The memory of a much loved family member or friend can live on through a donation to your local health service provider Northeast Health Wangaratta. Donation envelopes for this purpose are available or click here to for a donation form.
Family and friends can make a donation in lieu of flowers in recognition of the medical care and attention provided as a direct way of helping us to continually improve patient care and comfort, ensuring the availability of comprehensive health services in our local community.
The bereaved family will be notified of your memorial gift according to your wishes and you will receive a receipt for your donation.
