Quilting enthusiasts flocked to St Bernard’s Hall in Wangaratta last Friday for the opening of the Strictly Quilts 6 exhibition.
A highlight of the evening was Heather Wickham and Rhonda Lea from Palliative Care at Northeast Health Wangaratta, receiving a donation from the proceeds of the exhibition.
The exhibition of locally made quilts is on display at the hall until Sunday, July 15 from 10am to 5pm.
The organising committee, made up of members from the Centre Quilters and Saturday Quilters, have expressed their excitement at the number and quality of quilts this year, none of which have been on display before.
The organisers said they wanted to thank everyone who work hard to make the exhibition a success and they look forward to welcoming visitors from near and far to the exhibition.
